IQ Option No Me Deja Retirar 2026: LatAm Cases and Causes

What The Block Means

The message means one condition on the request was not met. It is generated by the cashier, not by a person reviewing your case, and it tells you a check failed rather than which check failed.

Spanish-speaking traders meet this wording in several forms: no me deja retirar, no puedo retirar mi dinero, a greyed-out withdrawal button, or a request that appears and then reverts. They are variations on one situation: the platform will not release funds while a condition is outstanding. Nothing about that implies your balance is at risk or that your account is under suspicion.

Reading the message

Read what the screen actually says before acting on what you assume it says. A withdrawal section that will not open at all, a method list that appears empty, an amount field that rejects your entry, and a submitted request that flips back to your balance are four different situations with four different causes. Note the exact wording and where in the flow it appeared: that detail is what makes the rest of this page usable and what makes a support ticket specific instead of vague.

When it appears

The block most often shows up at three moments. The first is on a first-ever withdrawal, where verification has not been completed and the platform will not release anything until it is. The second is after a change (a new card, a closed wallet, a bank account replaced, a phone number updated) where the account state no longer matches what the cashier expects. The third is on an amount that sits outside the range your account is allowed to request.

Immediate checks

  • Is verification approved, or only submitted? Those are different states.
  • Does the name on your trading profile match the destination account or wallet exactly?
  • Is the amount at or above the minimum shown in your own cashier for that rail?
  • Is the method you deposited with still open and still listed?
  • Is any part of the balance routing back to a deposit method rather than to your chosen rail?

Four of those five you can confirm yourself in under five minutes, which is why they belong before any ticket. The fifth, how the balance splits across rails, is explained on our same-method rule page, and it accounts for a surprising share of "the amount is wrong" reports.

The block is a failed condition, not a judgement: identify which condition before you do anything else.

Verification Reasons

Verification is the single most common reason a LatAm payout will not go through. Identity and address checks must be complete and approved, and the details on them have to match the account requesting the money.

Every regulated broker runs know-your-customer checks before releasing funds, and the checks are stricter on a first withdrawal than at any other point in the account's life. If you have deposited and traded without friction, it is easy to assume the account is fully open. Deposits and withdrawals are gated differently, and the first payout is where the gate is.

Incomplete KYC

An account can be in several verification states, and only one of them releases money. Documents not yet uploaded, uploaded but queued for review, reviewed and sent back for a clearer copy, and approved are four distinct positions. A trader who uploaded an ID last week and has not looked since often assumes approval that never arrived. Open your profile's verification section and read the current status rather than remembering what you did. Our KYC guide sets out the stages and what each one requires.

Address proof gaps

Proof of address is where LatAm submissions fail most often, and usually for practical reasons rather than anything to do with the document's validity. A utility bill in a landlord's or a parent's name proves an address but not your address. A bank statement downloaded as a screenshot loses the header that carries the name and the issue date. A document older than the acceptance window is refused whatever else is right with it. The document has to show your full name, your residential address, an issue date inside the accepted window, and the issuer's identity, all in one legible image.

Name mismatches

Latin American naming conventions collide with form fields designed elsewhere, and this causes real problems. Two surnames may have been shortened to one during registration, an accented character may have been dropped, a compound given name may have been abbreviated, or a married name may appear on one document and not another. The platform compares your profile name, your identity document and the destination account holder, and all three have to agree. Where they do not, correct the profile to match the official document rather than the reverse, and make sure the receiving bank or wallet is registered the same way.

  • Both surnames present, spelled as they appear on your identity document.
  • Accents and special characters retained, not stripped.
  • The destination account in your own name — never a relative's or a friend's.
  • Address proof in your name, recent, and complete in a single image.

Approved is the only verification state that releases a payout; submitted, pending and returned all read as blocked.

Method And Limit Reasons

When verification is clean, the block is almost always structural: the rail you chose is not the one the balance has to travel on, the amount is outside the permitted range, or the destination no longer exists.

These causes feel arbitrary until you know the logic, and then they become predictable. None of them is a judgement on your account.

Deposit-method mismatch

Funds are returned to the method used to deposit, up to the amount deposited, before any surplus can travel elsewhere. If you funded the account by card, part of your balance is going back to that card whether or not you would prefer a bank transfer. Traders who choose a wallet and then find the request will not accept the full amount are meeting this rule rather than a fault. The surplus above your deposits is what routes to an alternative rail, and the cashier decides which alternatives it will offer.

Below retiro minimo

Each rail has a minimum request amount, and it is set per method and per country rather than globally. A request under it will not submit. Two things follow. First, read the figure your own cashier displays at the moment you request, not one quoted in an article or a video — published figures go stale and vary by country. Second, if your balance sits just under the minimum for the rail you want, check whether another available rail has a lower one before assuming you are stuck. The minimum withdrawal page explains what moves these thresholds.

Closed Skrill or bank

A destination that has been closed, frozen, or left dormant is a common and easily missed cause. Wallets get closed for inactivity. Bank accounts get replaced when people change banks. Cards expire, and an expired card cannot receive a refund even though the account behind it is fine. When the original deposit route is really gone, the fix is not to force the request through but to tell support what happened and ask how the balance should be routed instead — that is a normal request they handle routinely, and it usually needs documentation showing the account is closed.

Match the rail to how you deposited, keep the amount inside the range your cashier shows, and most method blocks disappear.

Releasing The Retiro

Releasing a blocked retiro is a sequence, not a negotiation. Finish verification, align the destination with your verified identity, size the request correctly, then escalate only what is left over.

Work the steps in order. Each one removes a class of cause, so by the time you reach support you have a short, specific question rather than a general complaint — and specific questions get resolved faster.

  1. Open your verification status. Confirm identity and address checks read as approved. If either is pending or returned, that is your answer and the rest of the list can wait.
  2. Fix any returned document. Re-shoot it in good light, flat, all four corners in frame, no flash glare, colour rather than a scan set to black and white. Poor image quality is the biggest single cause of a document being sent back.
  3. Compare three names. Profile name, identity document, and destination account holder must agree. Correct the profile to match the document where they differ.
  4. Read the live method list. Use only what your own cashier shows today, not what a guide or a video from another country shows.
  5. Check the split. Identify how much of the balance returns to your deposit method and how much is surplus available to another rail.
  6. Set an amount inside the range. At or above the displayed minimum, below any ceiling, and within what the chosen rail will accept.
  7. Copy-paste destination details straight from your bank or wallet app rather than typing them.
  8. Submit and record the reference, with the date, time, method and amount.
  9. Escalate only what remains. If verification is approved, names agree, the amount is in range and the rail is valid, then a ticket is the right next step.

Finishing verification

Approval is not instant and it is not automatic. Submit clean documents once rather than several marginal versions, because each resubmission restarts the queue position. If an address document keeps coming back, switch issuer — a bank statement, a utility bill and a government letter are not equally easy to read, and the one that fails may simply be the one with the worst layout.

Matching your deposit rail

Where a card deposit is involved, expect the request to split, and plan around it rather than fighting it. The refund to the card is normal, capped at what you deposited, and typically posts on the card provider's own cycle rather than the platform's. The surplus then goes to a wallet or a bank transfer. Our Colombia and LatAm withdrawal guide covers which rails commonly appear across the region.

Escalating to support

A useful ticket contains the request reference, the date and time, the method, the amount, the exact wording on screen, and one sentence describing what you expected. Keep it in one thread — opening several tickets about one payout slows the answer rather than speeding it. If the first reply does not resolve it, reply within the same thread quoting the reference. The withdrawal problems walkthrough sets out the escalation order in more detail.

Verification, then names, then amount and rail — escalate only what survives all three checks.

Avoiding Future Blocks

Nearly every blocked retiro traces back to something that could have been settled before the money was ever requested. Front-load the account admin and withdrawals become routine.

Traders who never see this message are not lucky. They set the account up so the conditions were already met, which takes one evening at the start and saves every payout afterwards.

Verifying early

Complete identity and address verification when you open the account, not when you want the money. There is no advantage in waiting and one clear disadvantage: you meet the review queue at the exact moment you are least patient. Documents that are already approved make a first withdrawal an ordinary transaction. Keep a clean photograph of each accepted document so a future re-check costs you minutes.

Keeping Skrill or bank open

Your payout route needs to still exist when you use it. That means keeping the wallet you deposited from active rather than dormant, keeping the bank account open, and noting when the deposit card expires. If any of them is about to change, tell support before you withdraw rather than after a request fails — a closed destination handled in advance is administration, while the same thing discovered mid-request is a delay.

Respecting the minimum

Plan withdrawals around the thresholds rather than against them. Requesting in fewer, larger amounts keeps you clear of minimums and reduces per-transaction costs where a rail charges. Check the current figure in your cashier each time, because it can differ by country and by method, and read the fees page for how costs behave across rails.

  • Verify at account opening, not at first payout.
  • Register the destination in your own name from the start.
  • Choose a deposit method with the eventual payout in mind.
  • Keep wallets active and note card expiry dates.
  • Read minimums live in the cashier at request time.
  • Save every reference number, amount and date.

For context on who you are dealing with: the CySEC public register lists IQBroker Europe Ltd — formerly IQ Option Europe Ltd — as holder of CIF licence 247/14, issued on 30 July 2014, under Cyprus company registration number 327751, and that entry showed as active when we checked it on 3 September 2026. Clients outside the European entity's scope are served under a different framework. Payout amounts, fees and timelines change and should be confirmed in the platform cashier at the moment you request.

An account verified early, with a destination in your own name and a rail that still exists, rarely gets blocked at all.

Common questions

Por que IQ Option no me deja retirar mi dinero?

Usually verification is not yet approved rather than merely submitted, the destination account is not in your exact verified name, the amount sits below the minimum or above a ceiling, or part of the balance has to route back to the method you deposited with. Check verification status before anything else.

How do I know whether my verification is really approved?

Open the verification section of your profile and read the current state. Submitted, pending review and returned for a clearer copy all look like progress but none of them releases a payout — only an approved status does. Do not rely on remembering that you uploaded documents.

My Skrill wallet was closed. Can I still get paid?

Yes, but not by forcing the request through the closed route. Contact support, explain that the destination no longer exists, and expect to provide documentation confirming the closure. Rerouting a payout when an original method is gone is a normal request that support handles routinely.

Can I withdraw to my partner's bank account if mine is not ready?

No. Payouts are released only to an account or wallet held in the verified account holder's own name, which is standard anti-money-laundering practice across regulated brokers. Set up a destination in your own name before you request rather than looking for a workaround.

Why will the cashier not let me withdraw the whole balance to one method?

Because funds are returned to the method you deposited with up to the amount you deposited, and only the surplus above that travels to another rail. A request that will not accept the full balance is following that routing rule, not rejecting you.
